Life without independence is like a body without spirit. To honor the day of independence, a result achieved through relentless efforts and progressive ideas of our esteemed freedom fighters, a pre-independence day event was held at the down town School, Guwahati, brimming with enthusiasm and fervor.

The event was graced by the presence of the renowned RJ - RJ Mandy, serving as the Chief Guest. Alongside, there were esteemed guests, including Ms. Mayurakshi Dutta, Trustee of the down town Charity Trust, Mrs Manika Borah, Deputy Director of HR and Administration at AdtU; and Principal Ms. Maya Alfred Fernandes.
